College Open Textbooks is the initiative of a number of organizations who have made it their goal to provide free, open source textbooks online for students.
he Center for Open Educational Resources & Language Learning (COERLL) is one of 16 National Foreign Language Resource Centers (LRC's) funded by the U.S. Department of Education. COERLL's mission is to produce and disseminate Open Educational Resources (OER) for the Internet public (e.g., online language courses, reference grammars, assessment tools, corpora, etc.).
LORO contains resources for language teaching available to download and reuse, including those used by the Department of Languages at the Open University, UK.
Open Learn is an initiative of The Open University, UK. It provides supplemental materials for educators, including articles, podcasts, videos, games, and much more. In addition, it offers more than 700 free online classes.
