Integrating Library Resources into Blackboard Learn: Add Links to Databases & Articles

Making an URL Off-Campus Friendly

To make a link to a database or e-journal article available to students off-campus, you need to insert the URL below BEFORE the database link:

http://library.limestone.edu:2048/login?url=

Example for CQ Researcher Database:

http://library.limestone.edu:2048/login?url=http://library.cqpress.com/cqresearcher/

EBSCOhost ARTICLE EXAMPLE

No need to append the prefix for any EBSCOhost content-- it's already included. Select the "Permalink" on the page and just copy and paste!

http://library.limestone.edu:2048/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&AuthType=url,ip,cookie,uid&db=rzh&AN=2012470480&scope=site
