Limestone University Library provides wireless access (WIFI) for all Limestone faculty, staff, and students. Limestone students, faculty and staff are allowed to access the wireless network through an authentication process by using use their Limestone email address and password to login. Wireless access points cover the first and second floor of the library. Additional wireless Internet hot spots on each floor of the Hines and Riggins building. You can also access WIFI on campus in Winnie Davis, Granberry, Hamrick, Cooper East, New Residence Hall, Fort - D, Ball, Brown, Stephenson Dining Hall, Dobson Student Center, Griffin PE Center, Montgomery, Student and PE Center, Timken Gymnasium, and Fullerton Auditorium.
Most mobile products:
Select the “Limestone” Wi-Fi network on your phone, tablet or laptop.
When your device prompts you, enter your Limestone email address and password. This is the same user name and password used for e-mail, The Halo and Canvas logins) and click ‘connect’
The next screen may ask you to accept a “Certificate” for “clearpass.limestone.edu”.
Select “accept”.
You will then be connected to the Limestone Network. This will connection will be valid until your password changes.
Android pads and phones:
Turn on Wi-Fi and select the “Limestone
” network.
Be sure EAP method is set to PEAP
Phase 2 Authentication is set to MSCHAPV2
CA certificate: set to ‘use system certificate’
For the field “Identity”, type in your Limestone University email address and password (same information used for The Halo and and Canvas logins)
Click “connect”
**Note: This specific Wi-Fi network is unencrypted. Unless you are accessing a web page with HTTPS in the address or using an application that encrypts the data being transmitted, all of your transmitted and received data will be sent in plain text and could possibly be intercepted by a third party.**
Select the “Limestone-Guest” Wi-Fi network on your tablet, smartphone or laptop.
You will then have an active Internet connection.
