PASCAL Delivers is a service for requesting books and ebooks.

PASCAL Delivers is a book delivery system that connects the Academic Libraries across the state of South Carolina. The book catalogs of all colleges and universities, including Limestone, are searchable through One Search. Requested books are delivered to the Gaffney Campus, usually within three to five business days. Students who live outside the Gaffney area can request that books be delivered to an institution nearest to them through the requesting process.

Requesting items from PASCAL Delivers

Use this link to One Search.

Log in to One Search (your Limestone username and password from Halo and Canvas)
Search for your desired materials, making sure to limit the search to 'PASCAL Delivers'
- If you have been unable to find the resource in Limestone Library's collection
Click on the title of the item you want to request
Select the blue 'Request via PASCAL Delivers.'
- For the Pickup location, please choose a location from the drop-down menu that is closest to you. The item(s) will be delivered to that location.

What is PASCAL Delivers?

PASCAL Delivers is a rapid book-delivery service provided by PASCAL (Partnership Among South Carolina Academic Library) which enables students, faculty, and staff across the state to request and receive books from academic libraries in South Carolina. Over 12 million items are available in the catalog and books usually arrive within a few days!

If you’re able to use PASCAL Delivers, you can also go in person to visit another PASCAL Delivers library and check out the book yourself using the Visiting Patron service. Note that Visiting Patron checkouts have different limits from PASCAL Delivers patrons; in-person patrons are limited to three items and the checkout period for these items is three weeks with one additional three-week renewal allowed. You will need to present a picture ID and know your institutional ID and the authentication code you use to request books using PASCAL Delivers.

And now, full-text access from anywhere to over 350,000 eBooks is also available right from the PASCAL Delivers catalog! You are able to request up to 50 items!

PASCAL Delivers vs Library Loan

If the book or article you want is not available in South Carolina, you can always submit an Interlibrary Loan request.

What's Different?:

Interlibrary Loan	PASCAL Delivers
Journal articles, books, videos, and more can be requested.	Only books can be requested.
Lending period varies.	Lending period is 6 weeks.
Renewals vary depending on lending library.	1 time renewal of up to 6 weeks.
Loaned items delivered by U.S. Postal Service.	Books delivered faster by PASCAL Courier.
Requests placed by library staff.	You place your own requests.
The status of requests can only be viewed by library staff.	You can view the status of your request(s) through your Library Card in One Search.
Items come from all types of libraries around the world.	Books come only from SC academic libraries.

What's the Same?:

You are responsible for any lost or damaged items.
