EN 102 Argument and Research: Find Journal Titles

One Search

Coming soon - our new discovery search OneSearch(link is external) (OneSearch will be replacing our current Search Everything platform and Full-Text Journal finder. A guide will be available soon).

Finding Journals

Use Full Text Finder to locate a specific journal title or browse by discipline at the bottom of the page.

Looking for a particular journal?  Click on the link above to search and find all journals that are available here at the library or to link to those available in our online databases. Because journals (periodicals) often have brief or single word titles (e.g., Time, Circulation, Science), it is always best to search them using the Journal Title search.  A Journal Title search will also retrieve records for ejournals.

Search Strategies:

To search enter the title, subject, or publisher and select Search. You may also browse by discipline.

Always omit initial articles (a, an, the, das, un, el, la, l', etc.) in any language.

Boolean Operators (and, or, not) do not function in a Title search.

Alternative Search Options

When the exact title or word order is not known, try a search using the words of the title you do know.

For example, if you want to browse all Social Work Journals, type Social Work to retrieve a list of all journals with the words Social Work in the title.
