ED 310 History and Philosophy of Education: Find Journal Titles

A Library Research Guide for ED 310.

Finding Education Journals

You are able to search for a specific Education  journal or browse all Education journals by going to our Locate Print & Online Journals by Title page.

Click on Subjects, and then choose Education from the Drop Down Menu. After choosing a subject area within Chemistry, click on the Journals Only option.

You may also want to look for the following Subject area within Education:

Theory and Practice of Education

Finding Journals

Use Full Text Finder to locate a specific journal title or browse by discipline at the bottom of the page.

Looking for a particular journal?  Click on the link above to search and find all journals that are available here at the library or to link to those available in our online databases. Because journals (periodicals) often have brief or single word titles (e.g., Time, Circulation, Science), it is always best to search them using the Journal Title search.  A Journal Title search will also retrieve records for ejournals.

Search Strategies:

To search enter the title, subject, or publisher and select Search. You may also browse by discipline.

Always omit initial articles (a, an, the, das, un, el, la, l', etc.) in any language.

Boolean Operators (and, or, not) do not function in a Title search.

Alternative Search Options

When the exact title or word order is not known, try a search using the words of the title you do know.

For example, if you want to browse all Social Work Journals, type Social Work to retrieve a list of all journals with the words Social Work in the title.
