When faculty use OER, one of the most exciting opportunities that is extended is for faculty to customize their courses to fit the needs of their students. In this presentation, Melinda Boland will explore how using OER can enable faculty to create flexible learning experiences to embrace good design principles for student-centered instruction. The presenter will also share highlights regarding OER licensing and will explore best practices and tools for effective search, quality evaluation, organization, and sharing of resources.
