Citation Styles

There are different citation styles for different subject areas. Ask your professor which style they want you to use.

APA: psychology, education, and other social sciences.

MLA: literature, arts, and humanities.

AMA: medicine, health, and biological sciences.

Turabian: designed for college students to use with all subjects.

Chicago: used with all subjects in the "real world" by books, magazines, newspapers, and other non-scholarly publications.

The Limestone OWL
The Limestone University OWL (online writing lab) is the virtual extension of the Writing Center on the main campus. The LC OWL offers live peer tutorial sessions to all Extended Campus students. On campus students may visit the Writing Lab in person.
