Librarians are available to answer research questions in-person and through our Ask-A-Librarian Services, which include email (firstname.lastname@example.org), phone (864-488-4612), chat (see chat box), & text (864-469-2477).
Questions are answered within 24 hours, but are usually answered sooner. Additionally, the library keeps a question bank with real questions asked by patrons and answered by librarians for quick reference.
Librarians are available on chat:
Monday - Thursday: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Sundays: 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
*A Librarian may be available during the day on chat, but those hours vary week-to-week.
Students can schedule an appointment to meet with a librarian to receive individual assistance and instruction on library research. Appointments are scheduled Monday - Friday. The Librarians will do their best to accommodate preferred time/date for appointment. Appointments usually last 30 minutes or less depending on research needs.
Appointments can be in-person or over the phone and online for our distance students. To schedule an appointment, fill out the One-on-One Instruction Form or contact the Instruction Librarian, Justin Davis.
